Privacy Policy

The short version

RecipeCam is a camera. Your photos are processed on your device and saved to your photo library. There are no accounts, no cloud, no photo uploads, and no advertising or tracking SDKs. We cannot see your photos.

Camera and photos

Camera access is used solely to show the live viewfinder and take photos. Photo library access is used to save your captures and to show them back to you inside the app. All image processing (recipes, filters, previews) happens on-device. Location data is never attached to your photos by RecipeCam.

Your recipes

Recipes you create or import are stored locally on your device. Exported recipe cards contain only the recipe's parameter values and name — never personal data.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand which features are used. The data is anonymised before it reaches us, contains no photos and no personal identifiers, and is never sold. You can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy → Help Improve RecipeCam.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
